It's been a while since I have been able to spend a lot of time on the blog, due to projects, preparing for my fall travels, client deadlines, etc. When I am in the midst of all the things I do in life, there are these small moments that completely recharge me. It can be mornings with my coffee gazing at beautiful flowers, a pretty pillow, the smell of my favorite candles, stunning glassware or a gold object I can't get enough of, like my skull.
Taking time to enjoy the beautiful things around you is just good for the soul.
I'm constantly saving pictures I find on the internet where people display their beauty products, perfumes, dishes, or even just a few magazines. When styled right it can take your home from looking okay to looking fabulous! A friend of mine liked to call it "boutiquing", making small vignettes look like those in a boutique.
When I came across this incredible armoire with a tufted back and a killer champagne collection, I just knew this person's style was right up my alley. It's the blogger behind Fusion House and she styles her home like a French magazine. . .
I'm inspired by her style, her color palate, taste in fragrances and of course love of the bubbly. She takes pride in the way she lives and the girl clearly knows how to live the good home life. . .
Pink roses, diptyque candles, luxurious linens, chic black and white art, gold accents, pink paint, antique furniture, velvets, fashion books, etc.
I just adore it all. Happy weekend decorating! xo
