Well we all know just how much I love a set of blush pink sheets. They literally will change your life if you give them the chance. I have loved every minute of sleeping in beautiful pink sheets but lately I have been feeling a bit of bed envy. While our bed is well made, low and modern, I have noticed that daring and bold beds really make a room feel more complete. When you’re making your bed every morning, the entire experience should light you up, it should make you feel like you are living in the most lavish of spaces.
Typically in a room, the bed lies in the Fame bagua of the space. Red really energizes the energy in this space well, so selecting a soft red or pink for a bed is fabulous for this area. If you don’t know where your bed is, do me a favor and read this post to learn more. Anyway, when your bed rests in that specific area of the room or home, your bed will play a MAJOR role in your life. Think about it this way, if your bed was a representation of how you are seen in the world, your reputation, how people perceive you….what would you want your bed to say about you? You also want to think about the photo that sits above your bed. This will explain how you what legacy you want to leave.
Back to the topic at hand. I have been inspired to look for a new bed for us and who we want to be as a couple. Let me selfishly just say, I really want a pink bed. Not sure how well that will go over but a girl can dream, am I right?
So just for a little bit of reference, I would like to share this bedroom with you. Black walls paired with a blush pink bed is absolutely gorgeous. In Feng Shui, black is a color that represents being grounded and pink promotes happiness and love. It’s a completely divine duo. Via @andthentheywentwild
Here are a few beds I really like right now…..
This beautiful bed has some serious style.
Beautiful tufted bed with a dash of metallic glamour. This bed is a steal!
I can’t help but love the retro vibe of this posh pink bed, it just screams vintage glamour.
A few more options with a little bit of flair…
I’m not mad at this pink palm print bed either. It’s very Palm Beach Shabby Chic. It’s subtle yet still brings something to the table. Could you imagine it against a black wall? Chic.
Metal and fabric canopy bed. So very glamorous.
So, with a bed in the Fame area of the room, you really want wood. Fire is the element of Fame so wood nourishes and supports that fire to keep going. However, if you happen to have a bed that rests on the opposite wall, in the Career (water) area, metal would do well there. A bed like this would make all your getting famous dreams come true.
I especially love this beautiful velvet and metal canopy bed with a unique sort of tufting.
Black lacquer nightstands look so good in that photo, so these are a glamorous and affordable option.
I love a good mirrored nightstand too.
Oh, ok so full disclosure, this is NOT a Wayfair sponsored post. I just like ordering from Wayfair because when ordering home furnishings online, I need good and specific reviews. I find these to be the best and most accurate. I do my best to only promote and select what I believe to be helpful, useful and beneficial for everyone. Having access to the finest of design, I find these online outlets to be a stiff competition when it comes to looks, the quality may not be as good as a higher level item, but I move a lot and always change furniture so these online outlets are a really good fit for my current lifestyle.
