Typically on the weekends, I like to post my 10 things that rocked my world, but this week is different. One thing in particular really rocked my world and I felt that I had to share it with all of my readers. I have a very special newsletter that I send out which is where I like to share more personal things. Not because I don't want to share them on the blog but theres a special connection I have with my insiders. This week, my love letter was about how to make the most of your weekend, using one of my favorite weekend routines.
You see, when I'm feeling anxious or unsettled or overwhelmed, I feel like I can't really be productive or successful in my daily life. So, when Friday hits I like to get ready to recharge and reboot myself back to my groove. After I sent out the email, I got a HUGE response from so many of you who went straight to work on getting your groove back too. I LOVED IT so much, I decided to make this blog post as the thing that rocked my world.
One of my absolute favorite coaching clients in Dallas showed me an update she made in her bedroom. We used my glam-Shui (my own version of Feng Shui) to enhance the love corner of her home. So, today she rewarded herself with a new candle for the area and it has given her an extra oomph for her day. She is totally experiencing her own domestic bliss.
Another one of my favorite NYC clients treated herself to a beautiful purple orchid to put in the abundance corner of her home. Gave her a renewed energy to get her creativity and success going. This is another example of my glam-Shui.
Now we will get to the good stuff. Here is my Ista-licious weekend routine to get me feeling like my own kind of Beyonce again.
ONE: CLEAN OUT CLUTTER
Don't overwhelm yourself and feel like you have to tackle everything, just choose one place to clear out clutter in your life. A few examples may be, the trunk of your car, your cubicle or office, your gym bag, your wallet, your fridge, your bathroom cabinets, your mailbox. . .
Pick one and tackle it! Just this small and simple move will get you feeling accomplished and organized so you can get back into your groove.

TWO: INDULGE IN YOU
Once you are feeling a sense of accomplishment, it's time that you reward yourself. Usually, depending how how accomplished I am feeling, I like to get myself something that gives me a boost of feminine confidence, like roses. Getting yourself a small bouquet of pretty flowers from the market to put next to your bed, or on the dining room table is a HUGE gesture for self love. Taking the time out to improve your space and bring some living energy to your home gives a burst of good vibes and can shift your entire weekend and last you all week.
This weekend, I think my reward will be the Tom Ford Black Orchid perfume. I've been needing a good Fall scent and its delicious! A gorgeous bottle too which will make great vanity decor.
THREE: RECONNECT WITH YOUR VISION
If there is something that you have been wanting to do forever, but have put in on the procrastination pile, its time to do it! My best friend has been wanting to go salsa dancing because she loves the new song by Enrique Iglesias so tonight she is going. Another friend of mine has been dying to Soul Cycle so I encouraged her to sign up for a class. Maybe you can go pumpkin picking, bake a vegan pie, get a facial! Whatever it is, commit to doing it THIS WEEKEND. In my case, its time for me to update my vision board! (I wrote an ebook on how to create one if you are interested. Download for free here) I'm so excited to get working on it, I just picked up a few magazines. It gets me so energized for my week.
Once you have done all 3 things, see how accomplished and complete you feel as you being to approach your Monday. It always works for me!
