It’s no secret that there is a global energetic movement of uncertainty and fear hanging over us all. With all of the uncertainty, it’s no wonder the panic is getting to everybody. In an effort to provide a resource of support, I’ve been in meditation, prayer and furthering my studies of Feng Shui to learn ways to resist the urge to fall down the fear rabbit hole.
Over and over in my meditations, there is one truth that continues to rise up in me, nobody but you gets to choose what you experience in life. You decide whether you are going to buy into fear (thoughts of lack and limiting beliefs) or choose to stay in faith (that things will go your way despite what they say). Your thoughts control your outcome in life. You don’t have to allow everybody's negative views to get the best of you. Truth: you are always manifesting your life experience.
It’s a constant battle, some say the battlefield of the mind is never ending. However, I do believe that you can choose to lessen the impact in has on you. Something it has taken me a long time to learn is that it doesn’t have to be an overnight change, you can make adjustments in small incremental steps to help slow down the impact that fear has on you. One way I learned to do this is to make an intentional list of mindset shifts that I can recite in my head when I feel fear trying to get the best of me.
Today, I want to share 7 of my current favorite mindset shifts that I am using to combat the fear and anxiety of this corona virus pandemic. I dive deeper into each one of these in Episode 59 of the Bliss Vibes Only podcast.
There is a higher purpose in all of this.

I created this image so you could save it to your phone for when you find yourself falling down the spiral of fearful or negative thinking. It’s important that we arm ourselves with the tools to combat outside negative forces. You can’t imagine how much of it there is out there. Here’s what you can be doing to be proactive about your mental wellness.
🖤 Exercise and Move your body. You’d be surprised just how beneficial moving the body is for your mind. Endorphins get flowing and those are ‘feel good’ signals to your brain. When you feel good, you are less likely to fall down a depressive or negative thinking spiral.
🖤 Get fresh air. Let yourself feel the sunlight, Vitamin D sends healing energy to your mind, its nourishing. Your home with appreciate the fresh air coming in and busing out all of that stagnant energy just sitting in your home. It will help energize the way you interact with your environment.
🖤 Turn off the news and stop the scrolling. You’ll want to begin to curate what you DO let into your mind, you have to feed it with positive, authentic and inspiring content. If you’re looking for something to fill your mind with, check out my podcast, Blissfully Ambitious.
🖤 Meditations. Use guided meditations to help cleanse your mind of negative thinking spirals. If meditating feels too hard, you can also use relaxing music to help calm and soothe the mind. There are plenty of playlists on Spotify or YouTube that can help but your brain back in an open, meditative state.
🖤 Crystals. I love using crystals when I am trying to calm my mind. I especially love wearing my crystals when I need to stay focused on my intentions. Selenite is my favorite for cleansing my mind from all negative thought patterns. You just simply have to hold it in your hands and ask that all of your mental attachments are released. You can also use Amethyst, it helps to deal with negative thinking addictions so that they are gone for good.
