01 | HARNESS THE POWER OF SPIRITUAL HOME CLEANSING:
I absolutely LOVE burning palo santo in my home and sometimes I will even sage. Every morning, I light it up, open a window and let the smoke fill the air. For me, it represents a clearing of my space.
Each morning when you wake up its a new day. Spiritually cleansing your space is like a physical representation of that. On Sundays, I like to do my sage ritual, its a bit of a longer ritual so I take longer to do that one. I loved this girls point of view on smudging, too.
02 | PURPOSEFULLY SET POSITIVE INTENTIONS
and say positive affirmations out loud every morning. Today will be a great day! I am going to win today! I'm ready to kick butt and accomplish my goals with effectiveness! What is for me, will not miss me! I could go on and on.
I have lists that I read from in the mornings. I know it sounds silly but its scientific. Thoughts become things, what you think about is where your energy goes. When I am around friends or family and they say negative things about themselves, I say "don't talk about my friend like that".
Be the person that lifts yourself up so you can lift others up too.
This offers an opportunity to express gratitude for the gift of a new day and to set positive intentions. By acknowledging the blessings in one's life and visualizing the day ahead with positivity and purpose, you can enhance your overall outlook and increase your resilience in the face of challenges.
HOT TIP: While I am saying my positive intentions and affirmations, I also light a candle as I say them and using matches feels very romantic. This is a very impactful ritual because in Feng Shui, the fire element will activate, so when you speak your intentions into the flame they are activated energetically!
03 | ROMANTICIZE YOUR BATH / SHOWER TIME:
As you are getting ready for your day, making sure that your shower/bath time is as calming and inspiring as possible is such a beautiful way to start the day.
I am a sucker for beautiful products and packaging. I mean, I don't like anything that isn't pretty in my bathroom. There is something luxurious about bath salts and scrubs. I keep candles all over my bath tub and try to have fresh flowers in there too.
When I take a salt bath, I literally imagine the negative thoughts and stress of the day just wash away. If you don't like taking baths, learn how to turn your shower into a sanctuary.
Paying attention to self-care is the most effective way to stay productive and successful in your life. When you are tripped up by too much going on, you can't be operating as the best version of yourself so why waste your valuable time?
04 | DRESS UP FOR YOUR DAY ACCORDING TO YOUR VENUS ENERGY
This one I can speak from personal experience that it will completely change your life. Several years ago, when I started studying about and reading birth charts in depth, I learned that you inner goddess energy could be magnified outwardly by your Venus placement.
