One of the things I have loved about being a blogger is the friendships that I have made. I can not tell you how incredible it is to have friends who are passionate about the same things that you are. Over the years I have seen several blogger books come out, which I absolutely love. Go our community! This year at Legends of LCDQLA, there were so many book signings I loved getting a first hand peek at the new design books out. I am such a sucker for a good design book. 3 of them really me, not just because they happen to be some of my dearest and most treasured friends who I have made incredible memories with, but they are FABULOUS books to read. Here are a few peeks inside their books. . .
I can remember the day when Will would comment on my blog almost everyday. We formed such a strong friendship online via the UK to LA. I've watched his aesthetic grow into the most beautifully curated design inspired by his love of color and penchant for travel. This book is so absolutely beautiful. I love every page.
Not to mention he is absolutely adorable. . .
Eddie Ross + Jaithan Kochar | MODERN MIX
I just die for these two and if you ever have the pleasure of meeting them you are sure to feel the same way. I met them something like 7 years ago in Palm Springs where I learned of Eddie's talents for finding the most insanely beautiful pieces at thrift stores for like pennies. Just a few minutes of talking to him and you feel a little more like an antiquing maven. This book will give you just that. It's like spending days with him picking his genius brain. I am absolutely obsessed with this book and if you love learning about entertaining and how to make your home look effortless and wildly rich. . .this book is essential for your coffee table.
Aren't they so dreamy?
If you read her blog City Sage, then you kind of know what you are dealing with here. The girl has an eye and a beautiful way of writing that just captivates you and makes you feel at home. I've had the pleasure of knowing this woman back from my younger LA days and have enjoyed slumber parties and talking about boys till wee hours of the morning with her. She makes you feel like she is you, she gets you. She is THAT kind of friend. Her book makes you feel the same way. So inspiring, you will not want to put it down. Not to mention Emily Johnston took all of the pictures and this girl is one of my favorite photogs around. She shot my apartment for Rue back in NYC and I mean, she captures things that you would never see for yourself. She can tell the story and emotion of a space in just one photo. The girl is magic. Trust me, this book is a must!
Isn't she just as cute as a kitten?
