Design Inspiration: Elle Decoration Country Living Magazine

When it comes to prioritizing self care, heading to the local magazine rack is at the top of my life. There is something about magazines that just makes me feel blissful. The big glossy covers, the smell, the possibility, etc. Whenever I am needing a jolt of inspiration or an emotional pick me up, this is definitely my happy place. 

One magazine in particular really had me hooked. Elle Decoration Country, Volume 10. I could not put it down. Every image in the magazine was breathtaking. 

This issue made me long for warm Summer days in European countrysides. Two of the homes were so inspiring to me, I just knew I had to share them with you. The first spread was giving me inspiration for mixing white and wood, which is exactly what my mood has been this month so far. 

This next spread was so inviting and seductive, a beautiful spin on modern decorating. Could you just imagine the feeling of waking up in a stone wall bedroom? I'd feel like a queen in her castle. 

I just think this issue was divine. You can pick it up if you wish, the rest is just as intoxicating. 

Wanderlusting: the perfect apartment in Paris

In order to live a blissful life, you must always be in tune with the true desires in your heart. When it comes to writing this blog or anything I am creating/designing, its important to me that I stay true to my intuition and what is currently lighting me up. I've been working on a blog post for a few days now and for some reason, the post just wasn't making sense to me. So, instead of forcing something that isn't working, I took the afternoon to really look within and tune into my true desires. 

For a while now, I've been itching for a beautiful Paris vacation. When it comes to manifesting the things I want in my life, I always begin by researching and checking out what it takes to manifest my desires. So, for me, I decided to spend a few moments looking for a place to stay in Paris. Not just any hotel would do because I'd love to rent an apartment and really take in all that Paris is, this trip. 

Fortunately for me, this became a perfect blog post for this Tuesday afternoon. An inspiring and beautiful Paris apartment that I would absolutely LOVE to rent out called The Comtesse.
