Blush pink has been dubbed "the new neutral that's taking over instagram" by One Kings Lane. I recently shared an article about how the 'Millennial Pink' is the no. 1 color used to spike sales in retail and e-commerce. Although it was last years color of the year, looks like beautiful blush is a neutral that is here to stay.
Coming right along next to it is this years color of the year, greenery. Fresh green in the home is the ultimate for feng shui. Green is comforting to our eyes, its a color that we feel grounded and connected to. It communicates peace, safety and a connection to the world. Natural leaf greens are life in motion. It restores depleted energy, encourages growth and renewal and it naturally creates a sanctuary to enhance modern living.
In my workshop, I've learned that green is 70% of most peoples most needed color or as I call it 'your power color'. We are all craving green so why not throw in a hint of the new blushing neutral for an elegant, eclectic and fabulous mix.
I'm even considering painting walls in a deep natural green. After I saw this amazing solarium in AD, I've been craving for a room filled with green.
