This month marks 10 years that I have been living the entrepreneurial dream. I can remember one of my very first entrepreneuress muses was Loren Ridinger. I followed her blog forever and would read all of her lady boss tips and motivational wisdom. For years, I have been inspired by her.
I recently came across some images of her family home in Greenwich, Connecticut and fell madly in love. Black walls always catch my eye. This dining room just screamed out to me….GOALS! I love a good celebrity home but something about this home seems relatable yet still very sophisticated and glamorous. If you are wondering how to pull off black walls without being too dark, this is a beautiful way to do it. We all know how I feel about living in noir.
I’ve totally had my eye on this gold bar cart for a while now. It works well with the black and white theme. The black walls above the white moldings & built ins looks so beautiful. Totally reminiscent of Donatella Versace’s home office.
Here is a shot of the family room in a dark navy blue contrasted by white molding. Again, very sophisticated and chic. The low profile sofas keep in cozy and modern. Sort of reminds me of a Ryan Korban meets Mary Macdonald look. I absolutely love it.
K, so this bedroom. Absolutely stunning. So very glamorous yet with a little bohemian thrown in. I am all about that chic mix. The Kelly Wearstler fabric on the chairs? Such a fabulous statement in this room. I especially love the KW lamps.
Yet another black fabulous bedroom….not sure which one I like more.
I just adore this other bedroom look too. The lucite and brass bed is oh so chic. I am not sure where this one is from but I found one similar I may just have to spring for.
