Pardon my lack of posts lately, this week has been so busy and its still early in the week. I've been a busy bee these days, especially because I've got several new projects on my plate in my building. As I was updating my portfolio the other day, I realized just how much I really do love designing high rise spaces. I think it comes from my years of designing apartments in Manhattan, I have an affinity for small space design. I love figuring out how to maximize space, I think it comes from my days obsessed with playing Tetris.
I realized that I hadn't shared this awesome bachelorette pad I did in a high rise in downtown Austin. Not only did I love working with the bones on this space, I absolutely LOVE the story of our design process. She is the 3rd girl who I worked with Decor Therapy style who ended up falling in love before we even finished the space. We didn't even get to finish the office I designed with an amazing all black built in murphy bed ( photo below ), before she has decided to sell the space because she is building her dream home with her love!
When you commit to living your best, up-leveling your lifestyle, upgrading your living space and being the high vibrational woman you are meant to be, all things you desire in your life align. This is how I coach my clients to design their dream life.
WHAT DOES THAT LOOK LIKE?
One thing about this client, she was committed to the up-leveling. She really desired to have a home like a chic hotel to entertain her friends. She wanted a lot of purple because she loved that color and it really lit her up. She didn't settle for what she didn't really love, she even let me re-tile her kitchen with mirrored tiles because it made it feel more glamorous. She was open and ready to make this space HERS, it made her live her life in a different way.
Here's a shot of the all black office we had custom built which we didn't get to finish. Her dreams came before we were even done. Who doesn't want that?
