There is nothing I love more than being in a fabulously designed restaurant. I almost enjoy the design more than I enjoy the food. Yesterday, I went to do a little shopping at the newly remodeled Saks Fifth Avenue and met up with a business partner for a quick lunch meeting and I was blown away by the restaurant inside. 51fifteen is bomb! The design was just out of this world, in my opinion and the food was excellent too.
The color palette was probably my favorite part of the whole design. Marble, white, black, grey, gold and navy. All put together with modern pieces really makes for a beautifully contemporary space. I literally was taken aback by this large scale art piece on the back wall of the lounge. The beautiful white flower just coming to life. I was moved by the piece.
Chairs are like shoes to me. So, I fell in love with the choice of chairs in the space. The Warren Platner chairs totally stole the show in brass and navy. I mean just to die for. I want these. I also loved the stiletto back chairs in black velvet that sat next to the window.
I even loved this desk space. How glam does all of the gold look?
I had such a fabulous time at this place. If you are ever in the area, doing a little shopping. . .you must go!
