I've been preparing myself and packing up my things for my traveling for the rest of this month. As I have been getting my life prepared and organized, I've been walking around my home thinking of how much I am going to miss it. It's interesting, I've created this space with so much effort in Feng Shui, its become a magical sanctuary that I never want to leave. I can't decide if its a bad thing or good thing.
I decided to take little shots of my home, in photos, so you can see what's going on around here. I've always been in love with my tapestry art. It has such lively and social vibes. Since I have a big family and I love having dinner parties and playing games in the dining room, this works perfectly here.
My leopard pillows are from here.
I'm taking in the white sofa cover for now. I've been meaning to put on my grey velvet Bemz sofa cover. That will be coming soon. I'm so going to miss the white but there is nothing like a seductive velvet sofa.
It's interesting. On my vision board a few years back I had the phrase "everything in my home has a story" and now its absolutely true. My home office is total evidence of that. All three pieces of art were gifts from very special friends of mine in NYC. So they each carry a meaning. My gold lamp, with a black croc lampshade was literally 5$ on a trip to Goodwill with one of my besties. We loaded up that day so I just will never forget it. I could go on and on. . .
I'll forever be in love with my home office. Although, I am looking for a new chair. This one is not as comfortable as I would like it to be. I am thinking of this one. . .
On the hunt for more on for my TV art wall. Actually considering a white juju hat instead. I love femme art and this spanish senorita is one of my fave vintage finds, I love this corner of my apartment.
Entryway tings.
