Just the other day, someone asked me what is my favorite color of the rainbow and I had to take a moment to think about it. Then I realized that my favorite colors aren't actually colors, they are like "non rainbow" colors. Black, gold, white, grey. I'm obsessed. Furthermore, my homes have always turned out to be more rich in color and black and gold is a look I will never tire of. It's so very Egyptian and I am kind of obsessed with all things Egypt. Gold is just so glam and looks good with everything and black, well black is just so chic.
It all started with this glam KW ice bucket with gold handles. GLAM! I seriously need this Golden State of Mind Tee. Black + gold wine goblets would look absolutely stunning on my dining table. I also believe this Titus faux skin coffee table would be SUCH a stunner in my space. I have always wanted a Diptyque electric diffuser. It's gorgeous and I hear it makes your entire home smell ridiculously good! How chic are these black and gold bangles? These black and gold bins would look so chic as planters on my patio, especially now that outdoor party weather is approaching. I love the packaging of Oribe sprays, the texturizing one is my favorite because it gives my hair some volume after I blow dry. I also like the beach waves one. A black and gold Michael Kors watch is exactly what my little wrist needs right now. These Jonathan Adler Black Pagoda lamps are out of stock online but I finally found a source! Gosh they are so glam. I've been missing Henri Bendel's lately and I love this glam HB tote.
After doing some shopping + sourcing for more black and gold, I started to find some of my favorite Kelly Wearstler interiors that I have always adored in black and gold. She has always been a muse of mine and has always done such magical things with black and gold and I have been of fan of her since day 1. Through the years she has done such good work with the combination.
Now this is black and yellow, but a very golden hue of yellow. I just love this bath. I also love a white toilet with a black toilet seat. So chic.
I just love her heads and all of her tableware and china.
