In this coming months Elle Decor, Chicago designer Megan Winters has a show stopping feature and I just can't get enough. Black, white and gold are as many of you know my most favorite colors. Megan's portfolio just oozes with beautiful arrangements of the B/W/G color combinations that make me feel some type of way. Take a look at her unique yet classic designs.
I love how she mixed black and brown together, a combination you don't see often but I simply adore. I also like how the sofa cushion is different than the rest of the sofa, its a unique flair on a classic look. White and gold splattered abstract art is just the right touch of edge for this space. I also love the stripes at the bottom of the curtain, such a small but impactful detail.
This collection of plexi framed Fornasetti plates just takes my breath away. I am a Fornasetti feen and this plate collection has me weak in the knees. I am dying for a plate collection like this...
A few from the collection I want:
This black and white kitchen space might just be my most favorite design of hers. I love high gloss black molding with white walls.
I also love the way she used the Kelly Wearstler pop bowl as a orchid holder. I love the look.
The stripe theme in this dining room is just so on point. As is everything else. This type of room is why you hire a designer, as the designer always accentuates with details. Details are everything.
This masculine room is so elegant and insanely chic. The black croc walls with burled wood accents tables. I could totally see this look in a Ralph Lauren show house. Again, her signature details are the stripes and lines for patterns and the darker cushioned seat.
Don't you just love her work? I love to see a designer inspirations. Here is how she pulls her looks together. It's very fashion forward.
