This month I have been on just a whirlwind tour of this country. I visited Atlanta for the first time and absolutely enjoyed myself. I typically go to Vegas Market around this time but I was pleasantly surprised by how fabulous Atlanta Market is. I spent three days walking around each and every showroom and feel like I came away some new ideas I absolutely loved.
For one, I noticed a LOT of tie dye and I kind of really liked it. The wallpaper above was very chic as was this chic chair I found at Palecek. Totally giving me good summer vibes and a very LA relaxed bohemian. I could totally see this look in Austin, too. I love it.
I also noticed the amount of crystals throughout market. They make everything look so glamorous. If you want to add a touch of glamour to your home add in some crystals and stones.
One of my absolute favorite looks that I saw was wood and lucite together. How fabulous would a big exposed wood dining table be with a glam lucite base? I really love the grit mixed with glamour look.
I am a HUGE fan of curved sofas. I have always been partial to a curved look in a living room. think Mad Men, Breakfast at Tiffanys, Auntie mame. It's got a very vintage and grand feel to the look. This market I saw more curved sofas in new interesting styles which I loved.
Another thing I noticed was painted on furniture. I don't really know how I feel about this look but it sure was interesting to see.
What do you think of these trends? Which one is your fave?
