Design trends: decorating with Sapphire

I've noticed that this year has been predominately populated with black and white interiors as the trendy look. Decorating rooms with a pop of Millennial Pink or tropical greens. However, in the world of interior design I'm loving when I see designers take bold color risks just to mix things up a bit. A good designer steers clear of the popular looks and really puts a unique statement in their work. I've been catching glimpses of sapphire here and there and I am loving the sapphire mirror trend.

Reflections: shopping for the perfect accent mirror

This week is moving week and the best part of this whole move has been getting rid of things I have had for far too long. It's always hard to let go of things that have memories attached to them. With the purging of so many things, there is now room for so much more. As I have been collecting inspiration photos for my new space, I find myself attracted to soft, romantic antique and vintage style mirrors.
