It feels like it has been forever since I have written a blog post and it HAS! Too long. Please forgive me loves, I have my hands doing so many things right now including being a full time mom. It’s a beautiful mess. Although I have been putting most of my energy into my online shop, jewelry & podcast, my love for interiors and this blog will never, ever end. I believe so much in a passion for living that I am giving my heart to the things that light me up. I understand that life is short and I want to make sure that I give attention to all the things that have captured my heart.
A lot has been going on in my personal life, making a new home with my love and Roman, balancing mom and entrepreneur life, working on my health, my mindset and understanding my hearts desires. It’s truly a journey isn’t it?
With the arrival of Spring and end of Mercury Retrograde, I have felt a new wave of everything….MAXIMALISM is having a moment. Thank God. We all know I am a maximalist at heart. PINK, CORAL, LAVENDER, all the feminine colors are stlll so popular which I love because the feminine energy is so alive and its what the world really needs right now. Soft, loving yin energy, not harsh, agressive yang energy. In Feng Shui, it needs to be a balance of both, so for true harmony we must have it all! That’s so beautiful isn’t it? To think that we are all actually meant to have it all, that’s what God wants for us.
On another note, Drew Berrymore has a new line at Wal Mart called Flower.
I am totally loving it. After House Beautiful made the decision that maximalism is BACK, I myself love the idea, it makes the perfect time to launch this look, no? Here are a few picks I love….
When I was younger I can remember my mom had my room decked out in floral Laura Ashley curtains and beadspread. This set totally takes me back to elementary school. I’m kinda into it actually.
Now that we have established these more dramatic decor vibes, I want to share with you some photos of the NY Kips Bay showhouse is telling us….90’s Maximalism is here to stay! See how these rooms make you feel?
WHAT ARE YOUR THOUGHTS???
