With New York Fashion Week in full swing, my brain is just flooded with so many inspired looks. Pink is one that right now, I just can't get enough of. Especially pale pink. I'm not a big fan of red, I like to think of pale pink as the color of love and romance, being feminine and a feeling of soft inspiration. Here are 6 looks with pink I'm really into right now...
1.{Above} I love the dusty pink on the walls here, mixed with shades of green and a lot of lucite. This mix of furnishings is so me and I just love the color combination. It's unique and very fun.
2. I like a pop of pink in a chair while the rest of the room is muted and dark. I think its a nice twist and gives the room a little something fun. You can't take the design that seriously. I like that.
3. I love a good hallway with a different color in the mix. Hallways can be afterthoughts but its just as important as any other room in the home. This pale pink hallway with gold mirrors is one that I would like to try.
4. In my very first NYC apartment, my roommate had this gorgeous pink credenza. I absolutely loved it and everyone just went gaga for it. We also had pink lampshades to match it. It looked so good and made such an impact. I think painted pink furniture in gorgeous lacquer is the way to go!
5. Ceilings are always forgotten and I am a huge believer that when painted, they change the entire look of a room. I think this pink ceiling is powerful. The reflection from the soft pink color will also make your skin glow. Gotta love that.
6. I also love the idea of getting really creative with doors. Pink doors are a win for me. Especially this fun little pink taped door accent. For renters, this is really fun because you get a pop of pink and something interesting without the commitment of paint. OR you can just paint the doors, which I just adore too!
