After coming back from Puerto Rico, I've been staying with family and in the entryway, I noticed we have a mantle in need of some serious cheer. I also knew I had a ton of presents to get wrapped, so I wanted to make a chic little mantle with our presents before we head out to grandmas for Christmas.
I have been obsessed with everything Simon Pearce as the all handblown glass is gorgeous and works for anything color scheme. They were kind enough to send me some ornaments for our tree but since we didn't get a tree this year (due to traveling) I decided to use them as pretty gift wrapping ornaments and gifts for my loved ones. Aren't they so pretty?
P.S. The lovely people at Simon Pearce are giving away to one Decorista reader a $300 gift card. Happy Holidays to you! All you have to do is comment on the instagram photo that you have followed @thedecorista + @simonpearceinc For a bonus entry: leave a comment on this blog post. Good luck!
A while back I ordered some samples of Tempaper to use in a potential room makeover and the gorgeous papers ended up being the most glamorous gift wrap I could imagine. I went with the Damsel Bisque and Feathers Lavender. I love unique wrapping paper, and this paper looks so perfect and has a rich, durable wrapping feel. I love it. How glamorous did the gifts end up looking? I'm in love!
Then, while picking up tape and ribbon, I swang by my local Goodwill to get some candlesticks and ornaments to spruce up the rest of the mantle. I got everything under 15$.
I am so happy with the way the gifts turned out. I hope everyone loves their gift style and pretty Simon Pearce ornaments. Here is how the whole mantle turned out:
I also used my Simon Pearce large glass bowl and filled it with the mercury glass ornaments. I love ornaments in a beautiful glass bowl, its such a chic pop of metallic glow.
