When I was younger, we used to get a Valentine's Day basket, much like an Easter basket filled with goodies and items that we really wanted. It was all about celebrating love as a family. As an adult, its become such a pressure filled day of romance. Why not get back to romancing ourselves, when having a full amount of self-love was the most important thing. Then you could go out into the world and love everyone else. I put together a little self-love gift guide to inspire you to treat yourself and love your self in a healthy and luxurious way. . .
ONE: I am currently reading the book Big Magic and am completely giving myself the gift of inspiration. Sometimes you just need a pick me up. TWO: I am currently watching the Bachelor and it just cracks me up how obsessed those girls get over getting a rose. Get yourself your own damn rose with this new Kate Spade rose wallet. THREE: A pretty pink sleep mask filled with lavender will help you get yourself to get some good rest, which is good for your soul. FOUR: A pillow that says yes in French? Isn't that adorable? I like to be a yes person. FIVE: On cold mornings, when I slip out of bed, I love to walk around the house in cozy slippers, get yourself a pretty pair of UGGS for a little domestic bliss. SIX: In addition to a new wallet, I like a purse that matches. It just makes me feel like a good fresh start and I am all about blush pink satchels right now. SEVEN: This year, I have made a huge effort to drink lots and lots of water so I keep my skin hydrated and glowing, which gives me confidence of course. Keep a glam water bottle with you at all times. EIGHT: The YOU LOOK GOOD bath mat is the perfect way to give yourself some good motivation in the morning. NINE: This rosaviola candle is so pretty smelling and the packaging is so perfect. TEN: A swan, a symbol of love, should always be worn around the neck, no? ELEVEN: I've been trying to wear skirts more, to bring out my more feminine side. How fabulous would it be to glide around in this red maxi skirt on Valentine's Day?
