I have always been a big fan of anything to do with healing the home, Feng Shui, etc. I believe so much that your home is your foundation and sacred space for designing your life. The other day I was given a book to read called, Discovering your Soul Mission, How to use karmic astrology to create the life you want. It was truly fascinating.
I've always loved to know how to decorate for your sign and season and have had my birth chart read too. I've been clued in to who I am deep down based on my planetary star map. However, it wasn't until I read this book that I discovered my North Node/South Node sign, which tells you what your soul mission/purpose is in this life. It's all based on the star influence. Well, my soul purpose, just happens to be a Leo. I am a Capricorn in personality but my soul wants to express itself in a Leo way. Which is interesting because I have always just felt like my spirit animal was the lion. (In the photo above, this art print with a woman walking a lion, I must have this. If anyone knows who's house this is or where I can find, please help a girl out)
Anyway, this may interest you or not but for me, it almost felt like it resonated with my gut. I have always been in love with lions. (I even thought of Leo as one of the possible names for my baby boy) It just feels right. So, as to enhance the qualities of my soul mission, it says to decorate with things and symbols that bring out the lioness in me. Read what it says about my Leo North Node here and if you want to find your north node, you can read these girls. It's so fun to learn these things.
Interesting how my book cover has a lion knocker, no?
Perhaps I need this gorgeous grey lion head credenza.
I've always said that my dream home would have a lion head water fountain like this.
I just adore lion head pulls on the back of these chairs.
