In an effort to promote my passion for a well curated life, I wanted to give you all a nudge in the right direction. Studies have shown that an organized home leads to a happier and well functioning life. How many of us compromise our self care due to lack of time, money or resources. It doesn't have to be that way. I've realized that my best days are the ones where I make my bed and my bedroom feels neat and clean. So this year, I am committed to changing this aspect of my life. This weekend, I'm beginning to work with my bathroom.
I'm in a rental, so I'm not fortunate enough to have beautiful built in shelving. However, that's nothing that a trip to IKEA can't fix. I think I am going to go grab 2 shelves and put them on the wall next to my toilet. Now I will have extra room for matching storage boxes or baskets ( I always love the ones from HomeGoods ). Toilet paper looks very pretty stacked neatly together too and of course, my matching towels will finally have a place.
I adore this shelving unit for perfumes and products. I can probably find something like this at the local antique mall and splash it with some white paint.
I also adore these empty gold frames leaning for a glamorous effect on the shelving. Otherwise, I'll be buying pretty containers for my items like Qtips and cotton swabs. I will also probably add a few more trays to my collection to hold things together. One can never have to many trays is my motto.
Are you in need of a little bathroom organization this weekend? Let me know how it goes.
