Now that fall is pretty much in full swing and days are becoming shorter, we need more light in our lives. I notice that I have to turn on my lamps much earlier in the evening to get the kind of airy light I like in my home. Recently, I switched out a huge mirror for a big piece of art. As much as I love art, I noticed that my space feels darker, smaller and a little less bright at night. Taking away that mirror had a HUGE impact on my space. So, I want to cleverly look for places to add mirrors and create a bright space. How amazing is this idea for a mirrored ceiling?
Quickly I realized how amazing mirrored tiles are and how much of a fun addition they are to a space. It doesn't have to stop at the wall either, you can add them to the bathroom, the kitchen, they look fantastic in an entryway. Mirrored tiles instantly brighten the place up, make it feel so much bigger than it is. What magic these mirrors do, right?
This entryway pretty much made my day. I love it. I also am thinking that when doing mirrored tiles, antique ones are the way to go.
I even love the look of these honeycomb tinted mirrored tiles. What an artistic little feature.
