I always love to be inspired by new design & decor. While I was in Houston, I met up with a few design gals to chat about whats new and hot in design. Nothing seemed to amaze us in the US but pretty much anything and everything out of Australia & Canada were calling our names. I love whats going on outside of the states right now. It just seems like they're having so much fun with their design work. Take for instance the most adorable & wild bathroom I have seen in a while.
Now just when I was thinking I have tired of seeing this same wallpaper, here it works because the whole theme is so whimsical and animalistic! I just think its so much fun for a small powder room. Then I checked out the designer Jessica Claire & found more magic that she has done in her home. And to no surprise at all, I found out she is based out of Canada. She is the design editor at Style at Home magazine so naturally this woman has got some serious style. If you really want some good design inspiration, take a look at some more of her home...
I really am in love with the light color of this room and the other colors she used to enhance it. I like her placement of art & styling of the shelves. Notice how everything is a modern take on a very old Parisian look. [check out the before]
Now what really got me was when I saw the dining room. A gold ceiling. Um. Hello. That's my look. [see the before]
Now lets get to the black, white, gold & bold pops of color magic that happens throughout the rest of the home. I've picked out my favorite pictures, but to see more and follow along on the process check her out here.
How gorgeous is that living room? I feel like I could just move right in...now for the glam kitchen.
