I love shopping for stationary. Lately, I have been stocking up on chic little notecards and I can't get enough of them. There is nothing more special than writing thank you notes. I have resolved to write one every week for the second half of the year. It expresses gratitude, it also is extremely necessary on certain occasions. A few things I've learned recently I wanted to share with you... A perfect recipe for a nice thank you note:
Here is how you start....{dear whomever----thank you for the action or the present----how you enjoyed/will enjoy it----a compliment about the giver----a request to catch up soon----with love, kindly, or your desired send off} and that's it! It's pretty simple even though I know that feeling of "thank you note writers block".
One more thing...I think "thank you" cards are a little tired. I love sending cards with a cute photo, chic monogram, or a cool catch phrase. It gives you a little bit of edge and personality. Here are a few I love...
