Is it already Wednesday? My goodness time is flying right before my eyes and its already Memorial Day weekend. What is up with that? Anyway, things are moving along swiftly at my project locations including my very own Austin abode. The thing about my own home is its becoming a melange of my favorite things as opposed to a design plan I have mapped out. I've been collecting found things at thrift stores for furniture, because I've been splurging on smaller glamorous essentials like dish ware and custom pieces for the bedroom.
I've always been in love with these brass coffee tables. Pretty much everything in this room I love, but its definitely a little too femme for me. Anytime I go on the hunt for vintage items, I always keep in the back of my mind 'brass coffee table'. Then, the other day, I found this beauty for $20. Eureeeeeeka!
She is pretty much perfect for me. Her gold shines so bright, which I also love love love. Here she is getting all settled in. Still no sofa yet, but thats on the way...
She's not perfectly set up and styled yet, but I wanted to show you all anyway. I'm so short on time these days. By the way, check out my fab gold office items. Gold stapler by Nate Berkus. He also has scissors, clips, tacks, etc. Good good stuff. My file folders are also pretty chic too. I also got this adorable black and white box thats pretty good for styling & storage. I will be using my for my remotes, so annoyed of those ugly things.
