Yesterday, while antique hunting with my 96 year old grandmother, she leans over to me and says "floral art is coming back, Ash, you know the moody kind". As if she was giving me the inside scoop like bonds on Wall Street or something. ha! She is the best grandmother I could have ever asked for. Seriously.
The funny thing is, earlier that morning, I was talking to one of my besties, Nicole, and she was saying the same thing. She just came out with her new series of moody floral photos and I want every single one of them. I could just imagine this piece sitting beautifully on a big white wall in a bedroom.

It reminds me of the Aestate's watercolor Beverly series.
I really am into this greenery as art thing...especially the moody-ness of it. Grandma was really onto something...How about these jungle like leaves? Something like this could be so chic in a powder room or pool house.
Now back to the florals. I am so fond of this print, tim robison roses...
...and last but certainly not least, while browsing on pinterest I found Thomas Darnell. This gorgeous man who paints peonies. { oh, and Born in San Antonio, Tx. I've got to support my native Texans. }
Marinate on all that goodness for a little while. Happy art hunting. xx
