inspired by San Francisco! decorating with white and cream
The mix of bright whites and soft, dreamy creams is really well executed here.
Something about these living rooms just screams cozy + elegant living.
Today I am in San Francisco...enjoying the beautiful weather and the sunny skies.
I love being in this city, something about the crispness in the air just gets me going...
makes me want to decorate in whites and creams. ooh la la.
on this lovely sunday I'm inspired by...
The perfect mix of comfort and style...complete with an oversized mirror, plush flokati rug, romantic country seating with a mix of modern pillows in blues, blacks and creams.
The stylishness of this demure little kitchen. The gorgeous chandelier and marble countertop make it sophisticated and luxe. Add a turquoise little toaster and some personal treasured items and it downplays the grandeur perfectly.
The beauty of this dynamic breakfast nook. Perfectly situated in the corner, modern chairs make the perfect match for the Saarinen table. The art wall with black and white photographs are the ultimate warm welcoming finish.
Aren't these images lovely?

fashion inspiration for the weekend ALL ABOUT LEOPARD PRINT
I am so terribly ready for fall, especially since LA has been hitting the 100's these days.
Nevertheless, I am already inspired by the beautiful looks of this coming fall fashions.
Leopard print is making waves...delicious and yummy waves!
This weekend, while dressing and while decorating, I will be inspired by this beautiful print!
How amazing does Scarlett Johansson look in leopard? love!
just can't get enough of...
sweet indulgences...a purple bedroom
Purple will always be my most favorite color! I am so thrilled it is showing up everywhere this fall. I am even wearing my favorite purple shirt today! I love imagining what it would be like to decorate an entire room in purple. I don't think I could actually ever do it, but I thoroughly enjoy being inspired by the lushness + indulgence of this all purple bedroom.
The wallpaper is Oh so fab! I can't get over the headboard and the two-toned drapes and I think I am in love with that rug too! fun fun fun!
secret to domestic bliss #29... a frame of inspiration
I just really love to see what people love and it feeds my soul to keep my inspirations floating about. I encourage those of you who are not self-proclaimed or professional decoristas to try it out. Whether it be on your fridge, in your closet, or your home office, throw up your most favorite images and see just what matriculates into your life (like a vision board)! Take this as a challenge, it can actually be fun + exciting!!!

viva la mexico
I have been dying for a Mexican vacation. Dying!
I find life in Mexico fascinating.
I also find it particularly blissful to have a glimpse into the lives of people who live in very 'un-traditional' places, especially by the sea.
I want to introduce to you the home of this gorgeous couple...
Nico + Franchesca.
(aren't they supermodel-ish?)
for more photos of their home visit the selby.
inspiring blogger: PoshGlam
The other night the gallery I work at had a huge fashion event to kick off fashion week.
Have you guys ever heard of this blog?
Well, I hadn't either, but this girl is taking over the fashion world.
She started out as just a small blog and has now grown to be 1 of the top 10 fashion blogs in the country.
Her event was outrageous, she had tons of sponsors, a red carpet and everything.
When I asked for her secrets...
She said, she just started writing her thoughts and before she knew it, she was getting
emails from everyone who she looked up to.
And now she has a staff of 5.
woah.
This is the beautiful blogger behind the madness, Kimberly Stone.
She is pretty inspiring.
And just for fun, here is a pic of my staff + I at the Gallery.
We had a superfun time.
splendid sunday
This beautiful day I am dreaming of traveling to Europe...
renting a bike (like this cool looking girl) and riding around the countryside,
stopping by my lovely friends homes...decorated like the ones below.
sigh. i love dreaming.
