The week of the Fourth of July is one of my absolute favorites. It always seems like an easy and effortless week. The part of Summer where you are deep in the relaxation vibe and just enjoying the fruits of life. The details of work, family and friends is pretty smooth right now and I am deep into my love of Summer reality shows, aka Southern Charmed.
Typically, I am not a big fan of Summer but this year, as I coast into being a mommy, practice mindfulness on the regular and press into the desires in my heart, I’m learning that letting go of the common addiction to stress and struggle. I am allowing myself to live in the ease.
Here’s 3 things I am obsessed with:
Greenery. I love fresh flowers in the home. I’ve been watching Youtube videos trying to learn more about how to style fresh bouquets. Although I don’t have garden planters because I live in a high rise, I have become fascinated with learning how to style them. Call it visioning out my dream home, it’s part of my manifestation process. Monika did a blog post sharing tips, tricks and ideas.
I’ve been dying to host a little book club party with wine and cheese. Naturally, I’ve become obsessed with creating a beautiful charcuterie board for this particular gathering. This is a great resource and where I am personally starting.
A while back when I did my first ever jewelry trunk show, I purchased a wine to hand out to customers. Not only did Prophecy Wine become my favorite Rose’, everyone came back asking for more. I’m not a fan of sweet wines, I like my wine pretty dry yet smooth and interesting. I like it fresh with a couple ice cubes to really make it crisp. This wine is affordable and absolutely gorgeous. A must try for your summer soirees. Grab it at your local Target.
In other blissful news….
Every year around the Fourth, I get very sentimental of the fact that America is my home. No, our country is not perfect but I do believe that we are beyond blessed to live in such a beautiful place with thriving opportunity. We have so many luxuries that many countries don’t, especially the opportunity to pursue our dreams and do what we are truly passionate about. It is definitely something to be grateful for.
The Love Ashlina Jewelry line is not slowing down, in fact, its totally ramping up. I am so lit up as I have been working on my jewelry designs. I have been designing and creating some of my favorite jewels to date, to showcase at upcoming events. Above you’ll see my latest design, the All Things Are Possible stack. You deserve to have it all! Below is a cute shot of my desk, with my favorite Rose’ alongside of my earring designs and the gorgeous black tourmaline buddha set.
Thank you for being supporters of my dreams. It means so much. Love you, Ashlina
