The 10 wellness benefits of rose essential oil.
Roses were my grandmothers (both of them) favorite flower and naturally, they became mine too. Roses have long been a magical and enchanting flower…think Beauty and the Beast magic rose, the Queen in Alice and Wonderland and her rose garden, ancient Egyptian Goddess Isis and Christianity’s the virgin Mary. For thousands of years the rose has been a very sacred symbol, the ancient Persian word for Rose means “spirit”.
I was recently on a trip to the Bahamas, a small little island that was absolutely gorgeous. However, we got bit to death. I mean, we are still itching from all of the bites on our legs. I googled it of course and found that Rose oil is a great remedy for healing bites on the skin, holistically. I mean, I’m always game for anything holistic. I used my Doterra Rose oil stick and rubbed it right on all my bites. (i now carry this little stick everywhere with me) The next morning, they were gone! Like, I mean, healed, no more itching, not the most annoying problem on the planet anymore. Omg. I love when that happens, when you find a new hack or discovery that makes you think “why haven’t i known about this?!?” Then I began taking inventory of all my beauty products with Rose in it. The day I began using this Rose facial toner I became obsessed, I just love the way it feels and smells. I’ve also always loved rose in my hair care (the Pacifica Rose Water line is amazing), etc. Anyway, basically if it has Rose essential oil in it, I will pretty much use it. Typically, anything with rose in it comes in pink packaging so that may initially have been the draw. Once I began researching more about the wellness benefits of Rose Oil, my addiction will not stop. I am on a mission to fill my life with Rose everything! Not to mention, I love rose quartz…..

HOW I USE ROSE OIL IN MY DAILY ROUTINE:
When I learned about all the benefits of rose oil, I began carrying my cute little Rose stick with me everywhere. I rub it on my wrists and neck if I feel any anxious thoughts or stress coming on.
I rub it at night on my hairline and on my forehead. I really like to get all the oil soaked in so it can do its magic while I sleep.
I put 4 drops of rose oil in my body lotion to moisturize my skin.
I put drops of rose oil directly on my feet, toes and nails for extra nourishment.
I’ve been putting rose oil on my c-section scar as its supposed to heal scars faster.
I put a few drop in the bubble bath along with lavender oil to enhance the smell.
Add it to your oil diffuser in your bedroom and it will instantly give off a more romantic/peaceful smell to your sanctuary. (mix it with lavender or frankincense for a less floral smell)
I hope you go out and grab yourself some Rose oil because it will change your life.
Send this post to a friend who may benefit from using Rose oil, too.
