Well, it’s finally here. The podcast I have been talking about creating for so long. I recorded a couple of podcasts a few years ago but I never really did anything with them. Looking back, I really loved it. I’ve always felt passionately about creating a sacred space to connect with like minded people. and I have loved the last 10 years for sharing that passion with others through this blog. Once I got pregnant, I knew that podcasts would be a much easier creative outlet for me when my baby was born. Boy was I right. Blogging has been difficult for me to be consistent with, having a newborn at home, especially a 4 month old who doesn’t really love to nap long at the moment. At the start of the year, I knew this was something I wanted to return to, to expand the capacity of connection with my readers. So, today I am overjoyed to introduce the podcast to you because it has been on my heart for so long.
The Blissful Living Podcast.
For me, Blissful Living has been cultivating the art of coming home and returning to self. After years of working as an interior designer, creating beautiful spaces and lives for other people, I came to realize how important it was to focus on designing my own beautiful life, too. As women and entrepreneurs, we tend to neglect our ourselves and let our dreams fade out while we work so hard to forge careers and care for others.
Once I had Roman, the shift became glaringly obvious. In order to be a good mom for Roman, I had to prioritize myself. Happy mommy, happy baby.
Designing a beautiful life is meant to be an ever evolving process, not a one time event. One that I believe we should all experience and enjoy while simultaneously pursuing our passions and following our bliss.
The purpose of this podcast is to provide a space where we can discuss and explore the art of living blissfully, building a harmonious, holistic, happy home & life that supports us in living out our dreams.
It’s time to make a shift…….
Episode #1
For the last year or so, I have been going through the process of becoming a mother. Going from Girl Boss to Mom Life has been a transition I could never have imagined. My entire life has been turned upside down and I have really had a huge routine reset. In almost every way. However, because its such a beautiful life change, I have decided to embrace it and find the silver lining in all of life’s incredible manifestations. I think routine resets actually keep life fun and interesting. It could be said that we can actually benefit from a routine reset every so often, no? In my case, it has opened the floodgates of inspiration and given me a new purpose.
So, why not shake things up in your own life and give yourself a life refresh? It just may propel you towards the things you have been working towards. Here are 5 things I suggest you do to give yourself a routine reset.
Get up earlier than usual. This can definitely shake things up for you. You can do all the things you have been thinking of doing but haven’t fully added to your routine yet.
Take the time to slow down and be present. It’s really impactful to check in with yourself and where you are.
Journal everything out. Write all the things in your mind out on paper, this will completley declutter your mind and soul.
Get comfortable throwing things away. Learn the art of letting go of things that you don’t need.
Staying in. Saying no. Drop the FOMO and spend time cultivating your best life.
There’s so much more in the episode, so take a listen. Hope you guys enjoy!
