I have got so much to report about Atlanta Market. Honestly, it might be the most inspiring interiors market I have been to in a while. I'm putting together a list of the trends I am feeling for Spring and a little bit of Atlanta history I got to see. (If you follow me on Snapchat, you can see everything, just FYI)
One mix I've been noticing that I particularly love is the mix of high style glamour, with woods and natural elements. I am seeing a lot of wood mixed with lucite in furniture and its probably my most favorite mix because the earthy vibe just looks so chic with high end, over the top glamorous pieces.
I came across this photo (above) while catching up on my Domino fix and for me it just says. it. all. Zebra rug, abstract art, exposed wood + stone tables, jute rug. YES! This is the Homewares apartment in the NYC Domino shophouses, the design of the space is by none other than the ridiculously talented Antonino Buzzetta. I may or may not have a little crush on him.
This living room area is so livable and perfect for apartment dwelling.
The bedroom colors are just so rich and delicious. This is a great way to incorporate a rich color into your bedroom without over doing it; paint a statement wall behind your bed. I love the opt in for a softer color in the rest of the space. ( Statement wall paint: Slate teal by Benjamin Moore )
SHOP THE STYLE:
I tell most of my clients that a statement chair is so necessary in the master bedroom. It's where you can read, meditate and sip your morning coffee quietly. This Rizzo chair is the perfect look and size. He's just a genius.
