I'm not sure how many of you tuned in to the new show WAGS last night. . .wives and girlfriends of professional athletes on E. I typically don't watch these types of shows but I do love to take a peek into the lives of housewives, because I am always fascinated by their homes and their wardrobes. What girl doesn't want a glamorous and stylish wardrobe to display all of their beautiful things?
I am a firm believer in your closet being your confidence builder. With most of my clients, I encourage them to clean out all the clutter in your wardrobe. Get rid of anything that you don't absolutely love. Throw out the things that don't make you look and feel fantastic! What that does is allow for more room for better things to come into your life. Buffalo Exchange is one of my favorite places to swap out my old clothes.
Then you will have room to create room in your beautiful wardrobes like these. . .
In my opinion, there is no better place than IKEA to create a gorgeous wardrobe. The PAX is everyones most favorite one to buy. I have seen so many fabulous ways to make your IKEA wardrobe your very own. You can add molding, mirrors, new hardware, even shop over at myoverlays.com to create some really glamorous looks. ( I have always loved this mirror + molding look by my girl Jenny Komenda )
The best part about it is that they are completely customizable so you can get as glamorous as you want. This awesome accessory closet was made with two BILLY bookcases with glass doors. Things like this are essential, especially in NYC apartments because there is hardly any room at all.
While browsing the catalog, I found this vanity + PAX combo look. It's modern and glamorous and perfect for any make up obsessed gal. I would absolutely love to have this dressing room.
A few things you might need to help you keep organized. . .
