Just yesterday I talked about my love for black, white, grey and pink and then today I've got a twist on that. Yellow. How chic is this look? Yellow was all over the red carpets for awards season and this brand new hotel look is right on trend. I'm ready to take a little trip over to Paris and see it up close.
Hilton Paris Opera, formerly known as the Concorde, has officially opened, unveiling a chic and contemporary new look, following the extensive renovation of one of Paris’s most historic and glamorous grand hotels. The $50 million refurbishment of the beautiful Belle Epoque building (built in 1889) was led by Fiona Thompson of Richmond International, known for her distinctive hotel interiors including the much-acclaimed Beaumont in London. The hotel is located just steps from Galeries Lafayette and Printemps, in the center of the popular St. Lazare district known for its growing restaurant and boutique scene.
In addition to the gorgeous rooms, I'm all about the hotel vibe. The lobby, known as Le Grand Salon (a great meeting place for drinks or a light bite) is soaring and one of the most beautiful in the city, the intimate Le Petit Bar is swanky and the ballroom has four original chandeliers from the esteemed crystal maker Baccarrat. Rooms are spacious, modern and chic with a unique feature not seen in many hotels – heated bathroom floors!
Who else is ready to go to Paris?
