Spring is pretty much officially here, at least I think so. I'm all about the bright colors again and working my way towards a huge spring cleaning. I decided to do a big overhaul on my Austin closet and get things organized and pretty.
Its always good to throw out and bring some new beautiful things in. A closet should always be beautifully organized but because I've been in and out of Austin and NYC, it's actually been a mess. So, I popped over to T.J. Maxx & Marshalls to pick up some pretty things to make my closet more organized.
I always love gray as a neutral, so I decided to get a few things in the grey family. A gray laundry basket, hangers [I love the velvet ones, they make everything stay in place], a shoe organizer, matching striped baskets for socks & misc. items, some mirrored frames to jazz up the area and chic marbled wrapping paper to line drawers and to use as art. The best part about shopping at these stores is you not only can shop for the home, you can shop for the closet too. I picked up a pair of mint green pumps that just scream Spring!
Disaster! Now for the after...
I just love how clean and organized the closet looks now. I love how all of the gray items go together, especially the hangers, they are so chic together, it now feels like a little boutique. Oh, and the marbled wrapping paper made the perfect art for the glam mirrored frames, no? Here are a few detailed shots of the space.
