After my weekend of black marble bathroom adoration, I've gone on a total marble trip. Then I was visiting one of my favorite blogs + found this London home that literally made me gasp so loud. {This is the home of interior designer Colin Radcliff}My goodness this dining room is insane. How about that dining table, I don't think I have ever seen anything like that in my life. Probably something Kelly Wearstler would do, but Colin did it and did it well. I really love the chairs too. High gloss black frame with a white leather seat look. {those could be very cool for the kid friendly homes I'm finishing up} Ok, so lets move on to the rest of the home. There is more black marble believe it or not.
Notice the opposing floors. This entryway has a black marble with pops of white, while in the dining its the opposite. Wow. I love that whole plan. So high contrast cool, it just kills me. Also notice the malachite and gold umbrella holder , I'm pretty sure that is a Fornasetti piece.
Now for this bathroom, agh, I just die. That whole sink area is insane. Love love love. I also love the Louis Vuitton towels + accessories. Keeps things very 'luxury magazine'. Oh, and the scones are also gorgeous, too. Here is the thing that really struck me about this bathroom...the black + gold Lampe Berger diffuser on the counter. If you don't know about this home fragrance from Paris, you must visit the site now and find out where you can get one and order it asap. I've always bought mine on ebay, so I'm not sure where you will find the one you want but its worth the search. It is quite possibly the best way to fill your home with incredible scents. I am huge on home fragrance, its probably the most important thing in the home if you ask me. Your home will smell like a million dollars, I promise. I have been using them all my life, my grandmother got me addicted. My family lived in Paris for years when my father was young so she always had these beautiful little sculptures all around the home and her home always smells incredible! Okay, enough about that, but as I was looking at this photo, I got so excited to share it.
This bedroom too. Agh. It's really good. I'll start by giving love to the floors, the ash wood in a unique pattern is so pretty. Leopard chair, Dolce + Gabbana fur throw, brass faced lamp, mirrored screen headboard...all very good elements of amazing design.
That sculpture says it all. So does that chic bar cabinet and the outer view of the town home with grey paint & white trim. I want to live here! Don't you?
