I am interrupting the normally scheduled 10 things post and bringing you some seriously good decorating. Mostly because I was blown away this week by all the decoristas in the blog world and giving them a huge shout out. One room challenge is a sort of decorating spree where chic decor blogging gals makeover a room in their home and take us with them step by step. It has literally taken over my world. I'm hooked. So impressed by these fab decorating jobs + I'm walking away seriously inspired. I have got to try and join in for the next one. Everyone did such an amazing job, but for the namesake of the post, here are my favorites...
1. COLOR!!!! Ah, yeah. This dining room, in Austin, Texas (yay my hometown!), is fab! Erin killed it with this green color. I'm so into that chandelier it's not even funny.
2. My sweet friend Naomi did wonders for this bachelor pad. Black on black. Yes and yes.
3. The close up of these styled shelves it magical. Masculine chic at its finest. It's not always easy to get men to have some glam accessories and she just really nailed it here.
4. Hello, gorgeous. How chic is this little bedroom vignette by Pam? That headboard. Mirror. Wall. All of it.
5. I also really really loved this framed photo. It's a clever idea, I have been using blown up photos of gorgeous doors in my own work, so this really called out to me.
6. I probably will never stop gushing over my girl Beth and her fantastic laundry room. Chinoiserie chic at its best.
7. I love this kids playroom by Maddie. The wall photo idea is sheer genius for a room like this & the striped ceilings. A girl who attends to the style of ceilings is a girl after my own heart.
8. I really really loved the way Sherry styled this bookcase nook. Take notes. She's good.
9. My goodness Gaby, you made my day. Black in the pretty little powder room? Oh yeah girl. Props to you. I love the orchid and styled wall too.
10. Now this one isn't really my style, but this chic Mom made boho rock in this bedroom. With feng shui elements to boot. I just love it, espeically that wallpaper.
GREAT JOB LADIES!!!!
