As I sit here and write this post to you, my back door is wide open, letting in all of the crisp fresh Fall air. Not only is it a great way to clear the energy of your home, it also just feels absolutely fantastic.
For me, the transition to Fall is always so exciting. It opens up a world of possibilities for decorating, setting seasonal intentions and wearing your favorite boots.
👑 This last month, inside of the House of Bliss - Manifestation Queen Membership, our focus was on getting grounded, becoming more grounded in yourself in order to prepare for a hectic Fall and as we move into October, this month is all about detachment, in order to make space for new.
I personally have been creating more space in my home by decluttering toys, things that I no longer use and I’ve even done a major purge in my own personal items. Be sure to follow along and see how you can do the same.
10 things :
01 | White mini pumpkins. Starting to update my home for Fall with small little things is always so much fun. I grabbed a few white mini pumpkins on my run to Trader Joe’s and I love the way the pop against my all black tv wall.
I love the idea of placing groupings of white pumpkins throughout the home to create a Fall moment anywhere.
02 | Halloween decorating. I have loved every minute of shopping for Halloween decor for the house with Roman. Our little ghost DIY was such a hit. Everyone who comes over loves turning on the lights.
I also have loved these sticky bats. They are such an affordable, simple and chic touch that instantly gives you Halloween energy.
03 | Fall handbag. All Summer long, I wore my straw bucket bag and its been the best accessory. Now that Fall is here, I’ve made the switch to my vintage Chanel crossbody purse that I thrifted last Fall in Round Top.
Fall is my favorite time to go antique and thrift shopping.
p.s. did you know that Amazon is now selling vintage luxury items. I am eyeing this black top handle Vintage chanel bag.
04 | An ombre french manicure. I can’t wait to start doing Fall inspired manicures in all of the gorgeous colors. Until then, I went for a transition to Fall manicure and I felt like the ombre almond nail was the perfect pick. I can’t tell you how beautiful it looks in person, its more pink fading into white. Very classic and chic.
05 | Carrot juice. This drink is now a staple in my house. Last month I purchased what I think is the best juicer ever and began juicing all sorts of things. Carrot and celery just have become breakfast staples for me. My energy has majorly improved as well as my overall glow.
Currently I’ve been loving this carrot and grapefruit juice recipe.
06 | Walks in nature. I’ve always been a big fan of the hot girl walk. I love moving my body and shifting my energy from that slow cardio activity. However, I usually have a podcast or video going and multitasking in some way. The past few weeks, I started just being out in nature, no phone, no audiobook. Just taking in all of the beauty in nature around me.
It’s helped me really be more present and also fun to capture the moments through photos. My iphone takes incredible photos but if I really want to get present, I use my sony mirrorless camera…
07 | Yoga. Speaking of mindfulness. I’ve been back in my regular yoga routine, I hadn’t been in months. My first class back felt so good and I set an intention to keep up my consistent yoga routine.
I noticed that I had muscles I hadn’t used in a while and I just remember that as we age, stretching our body is so important to feeling good everyday.
08 | Swans. A while back I thrifted an adorable swan planter and am obsessed with getting a few more. Just one search on Etsy and I found a few that I love.
09 | Macrame. Went to a friends house for a weekend visit and I seemed to gravitate towards this corner of her home. There is something very grounding and calming about macrame that is calming and soothing. That’s the effect of neutral bohemian interiors, they just calm the soul.
10. Fall candles. I feel like I don’t even need to say more. Who doesn’t love Fall candles? I’ve been lighting them every morning and each time I do, I set the intention for the day. There is something about including this in my morning rituals that makes me come alive and actually have a beautifully productive day.
