studded screen, oh so green and bright + clean!

I am so addicted to screens lately and everything in this picture captures me.
I love the wallpaper, the studded chair and the mix of accesories. gorgeous!
  Something about this room has me eager to redecorate. I think what they did with the floor, the green and white stripes is just brilliant. Also, the blacks, green sofa and the fabulous recovered wing chairs are just singing such a lovely tune. Don't you agree?
I love the bright and clean look of an all white sunroom. Pops of neutral colors really warm it up and make it incredibly cozy. I think the fern plays such a big role in harmonizing the indoor/outdoor feel. This is the sort of all white room I can actually see myself working with.

get your GLAMOROUS on...

My friend Dean recently updated his fireplace area and I wanted to share with you guys because it is so chic and glamorous! It is hard to tell but the tile that is the back-splash has a beautiful metallic finish to it. All you need in your home, to amp up the glam, is to add just a bit of metallic shine. Maybe just a lamp, pillow or small table and instantly it will create a huge impact of GLAMOUR, without going overboard.

I am just loving this Jen Brill girl and her adorable manhattan apartment.
Oh how sometimes I wish I lived in NYC.
How 'effortlessly chic' is her pad? It is ridiculously pretty + plush! She is a photographer's agent and I can only imagine the incredible works of art that hang in her space.  Pair that with her velvet settee + sofa (my latest obsession)...and its just absolutely EVERYTHING I need in my life.

I have decided that I need one of these mirrored screens in my world. 
It's absolutely gorgeous and it reminded me of a very smart interior decor trick.
If you are looking to add big impact to a small space...just add mirrors.
It can do wonders for your home. 
If you need to create more light, or add an illusion of more room in your small abode...
adding a wall of mirrors is the ultimate trick.
Layering mirrors works wonders too and can completely bring up your glamour factor!

Decorista Trend Spotting: adding whimsy to your interior decor with birdcages

I spotted this photo and fell absolutely head over heels for these amazing oversized chairs.
How lovely are the fabrics and the details? love.
 I noticed a sweet birdcage perfectly placed by her feet, and I thought to myself 'howadorable'. 
For me, it made the photo that much more delightful to see.
It was then that I realized that birdcages can do so much for a setting or a room, 
a little bit of charm. So very Anthropologie.
