The last day of 2014 has me scrambling to get everything together before 2015. With the new year comes new things and new ways of being, at least for me. I love starting afresh, new vision board, new journal, new goals. Yesterday I sent out an email newsletter with my cheat sheet for making and keeping your new years resolutions. Which I will definitely be working on keeping to this year. Then I came across this awesome little direction activity for the my 2015 and I am totally into it. I think my year this year will be for PASSION. What's yours?
Entrepreneuress 101: set yourself up for success
It's down to the final days of 2014 and I can't even believe this year is almost over. I decided to launch my new E-course before the beginning of the year because NOW is the time to start preparing for success, by setting your goals for 2015. One of the first things I like to encourage my clients to do before beginning the goal setting process is to GET RID OF CLUTTER. It sounds so simple and its definitely something we all know we should keep up with, but how many of us actually do it? Not many.
There are two facets of clutter. Mind clutter and physical clutter. Most people would say things begin in the mind, but I sort of disagree. I like to work backwards. It's essential to get rid of the physical clutter in your life, to make space and begin to prepare for the process of killing the mind clutter.
For example, let's take your desk or home office. What is sitting on your desk? Does it have anything to do with work/bills/office related matters? Do you even have the actual space to sit and work at your desk or do you differ to the dining room table? I'm all about working in the dining room, but my point is this...What does your desk say about you?
Are you organized? Are you getting things accomplished? Do you look at your desk and cringe of the millions of things you have to do? If so, then spend an afternoon and attack that desk area. Open your mail, pay your bills, schedule those appointments. Next thing you know, your mind will begin to get free from some of that clutter. See where I am going?
Get yourself organized! I can't live without my planners + journals.
Try this in all areas of your home, your kitchen, your closet, your bathroom, etc. This is sort of what I call interior therapy and a key factor in programming your mind for success. Want more tips for designing your life?
