Chic accessory...obelisks

After yesterdays post on the One Room Challenge, I noticed that in Naomi's room was a fab white obelisk on the black fireplace. It really was such a scene stealer for me. Obelisks are such a sophisticated styling accessory and are welcome in all home decor styles. I always keep a pair or more of obelisks on hard for stylist shoots or new clients who are looking for some great accents. I found a really good pair at Home Goods recently for $20 each. Hot accessory | gold studs

So, there is this new little trend I'm feeling. Studs have been around for a while but lately I'm noticing them, not just on accessories like trays and such, but actually on walls. This first black number with gold studs just makes this room pop. It adds another element that gives texture, edge and glamour. Then, from the new Domino mag, Rita Hazan's closet has these adorable little oversized stud looking things. How fab are they? This is the result of Nate Berkus + his chic black and gold style...
